How we build Inshorts App in just 4 days.

- This app displays the information of the latest news updates with a huge variety of categories for you to choose from.
- We have Politics, Sports, Entertainment, Technology, Business, and much more for you to explore!
Project Goals-
To build a clone of famous news app Inshorts with functionalities.
How did we start-
As our team got the project we started research on inshorts app, where we get to know about some good features about the app. Then we decided which features we need to take into consideration, how to implement that feature in the android studio. Created repository on GitHub. That's all set for working on a clone.
Technologies we work on-
- Android Studio(Java, Kotlin),
- Vertical ViewPager Library
- REST API from localhost
- Slidr Library
- Database, Spring- boot
Here we can read the latest news on the feed with a title and short description, if readers want proper and brief information they can get that information just on the left swipe. On the right swipe, there is an option of categories selection where the user can select and read the news by sorting them by categories.
We have developed our own rest API to fetch all data.
We are using our own database to store information of users with spring-boot.
